Description
The cost of an electric motor may be merely Rs. 6000/- or less, but the cost incurred for the maintenance of the device is worth more than that. Sometimes, the maintenance cost within a week gets over the cost of the new motor. The main problem faced by the farmers is the burning of coil. Shri Bharat Srirang Kamble, an electronic device technician from Sholapur district of Maharashtra has designed an ‘Electric Motor Protector’. This device protects motors used for agricultural and industrial applications and prevents the motor from burning due to voltage fluctuations, phase loss & reversal, dry run & overflow, overload and many other real life situations in the fields. |
Benifits

Mr. Rai Singh Dhaiya |
Description
This is a mechanism with the help of which any bio-mass waste/ residue can be converted into inflammable gas (producer gas) which in turn can be used to run an engine, stoves and furnace etc. An Indian Patent has been filed for the Innovation. The Innovation has also been supported under MVIF. So far innovator has installed more than 60 engines in SSIs/ farm in and around Rajasthan, Haryana and punjab. His unit is registered as Thar Gasifier & Research Center Samiti. Product testing is underway at Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun. |

Mr. Chandrakant V. Pathak |
Description
This is a cycle based portable centrifugal pump. The water pump is mounted on the carrier over the rear wheel of a bicycle. Pedal power is transferred from two pulleys attached at the back of wheel. The pump is placed on a platform placed at the rear carrier of bicycle. The unit comprises 1 inch suction pipe (5m), hose nipples, foot valve, bracket, ring 7 V-belt) , Fabricated frame, 1 inch suction & delivery pipe, sprinkler, stand, foot valve. It is used for lifting water for various purposes like development of dry land, as a fire extinguisher, for construction work, use in gymnasium and for irrigation. The bicycle is taken to the water source, parked and peddled on its stand to operate the pump. |
